Firefighter sounds ‘mayday’ alert as Thomas fire rages

A firefighter has sounded a “mayday” alert whereas working the Thomas Hearth, the Ventura County Hearth Division confirmed Thursday.

“I don’t have any replace aside from what I heard,” stated Ventura County Hearth Division Capt. Garo Kuredjian on Thursday. He had no info on the firefighter’s situation, what occurred, what accidents have been sustained or “the place he went.”
