Is your college or university closed due to smoke from wildfires?


LOS ANGELES — The wildfires raging in Los Angeles County have prompted various native schools to shut for the day on Thursday as a consequence of extreme smoke within the air.

UCLA, Cal State Northridge, Los Angeles Valley School, Los Angeles Mission School, Los Angeles Pierce School and Santa Monica School have canceled courses on Thursday.

Pierce School held off on making a choice on whether or not to say open till this morning, and information of the closure was first reported on the scholar newspaper’s website:
