RACINE — Work has begun on a multi-million greenback transformation of a as soon as-thriving mall in southeast Wisconsin.
The Journal Occasions stories that mall proprietor Hull Property Group has begun inside renovations on the Regency Mall in Racine. The Augusta, Georgia based mostly firm bought the mall in 2016 for $9.5 million.
The group will start renovations by changing vacant storefronts with partitions coated in murals, pictures and quotes. New ceilings, lighting and carpet will then be put in. The mall’s loos may even be redone.
John Mulherin is Hull’s vice chairman for presidency relations. He says the makeover will take 10 to 12 weeks. He says a lot of the work shall be achieved at night time. Twelve weeks of exterior development will start within the spring.
The mall has seven hundred,000 enclosed sq. ft.
