Forensic investigator in teen murder trial reveals text…

HOUSTON – The Antonio Armstrong Jr. murder trial is underway for its eighth day.

Jurors listened Wednesday morning to testimony from Nathan Gates, who’s with the forensics unit at the Harris County District Lawyer’s Workplace.

Armstrong Jr. is charged with the murders of his mother and father, Dawn Armstrong and Antonio Armstrong Sr.

Gates advised the courtroom about texts and emails he extracted between AJ and his mother and father starting from late 2015 to July 2016.

The emails apparently show AJ and his mother and father going forwards and backwards about how he was doing in class. The prosecution claimed AJ began to misinform his mother and father about his grades and different day-to-day matters.

The prosecution is predicted to relaxation its case Wednesday afternoon.
