Man struck and killed by driver in Hillsboro was Holocaust survivor


A person who died Tuesday night time after he was hit by a driver whereas crossing a road in Hillsboro was a 92-yr-previous Holocaust survivor.

Alter Wiener was taken to a hospital after the crash and pronounced lifeless, based on Hillsboro police.

The crash occurred shortly earlier than 5 p.m. on Northeast Century Boulevard, north of Northeast Brighton Road.

The driving force stayed on the scene and will not face any fees or citations, Hillsboro police stated.
