Toyota recalls pickups, SUVs to fix air bag, brake problems

Toyota is recalling almost 143,000 SUVs and pickups worldwide to fix air bag and brake problems.

The first recall covers about ninety six,000 Toyota Land Cruisers and Lexus LX570 SUVs from 2008 by means of 2019. Toyota says a seat belt pressure sensor can malfunction and deactivate the passenger’s front, knee and aspect air luggage. That may improve the damage danger in a crash. The corporate is creating a fix and can notify house owners by mid-February.

The other recall affects about forty seven,000 Tacoma pickups from 2018 and 2019.
