Yemeni officials say troops retake key district from rebels


Yemeni safety officers say forces loyal to the internationally recognized authorities have recaptured a key district in the southern Dhale province.

Officials say the preventing has killed at the very least one hundred twenty individuals from each side since government fighters launched an offensive Friday to push out the Houthi rebels from Qataba, a key district controlling the world’s important roads.

The officials spoke Saturday on condition of anonymity as a result of they weren’t approved to temporary media.

Yemen’s bloody four-yr civil struggle has pitted Iran-aligned Houthi rebels towards authorities forces backed by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
